WineryAtlas is a free directory of wineries in the United States, organised by state and city. Every listing has an address; most have a phone number, and where a business publishes its hours or services we show those too. Do you need a reservation to visit a winery?

At larger wineries walk-ins are usually fine for the tasting bar, but seated tastings and tours book out on weekends. Small family wineries often pour only when someone is there — a quick call ahead saves the drive.

How much does a wine tasting cost?

Most tasting flights run $10–$30 for four to six pours, and many wineries waive the fee if you buy a bottle or two. High-end estates in famous regions can charge $40–$75 for seated tastings.

What is the difference between a winery and a vineyard?

A vineyard is where the grapes grow; a winery is where wine gets made. Many estates are both, but plenty of wineries buy grapes from independent vineyards — and some vineyards have no winery at all.
